The shower was absolutely GORGEOUS (pretty sure it was better than our wedding:))...they really outdid themselves! The theme was "Perfect Pear" of twins and it was also more of a "girl's night out" atmosphere:) We braved the Arizona heat and had it at our house in the backyard. It drizzled for the first 5 minutes of the shower...just enough time to send the hostesses in a shear state of terror:)...but it died down and the rest of the evening was perfect!
The food was fantastic (thanks Rebeka!) and they even had my friend Terra and Rebeka's sister, Michelle act as servers for the party! We had a DJ and my CRAZY sisters performed a skit/dance in my honor:)-- I hear rumors there is a video of it so maybe I'll track it down and post it:)
And of course the gifts were just amazing- all of our friends/family really went above and beyond to make sure we are all set for Jake and Lilly's arrival:) Thanks everyone!
